In late June I was doing a pre tour to meet some locations for a project I'm working, and this led me to the Socialist Production Unit "Domador Pineda", near Nirgua, Yaracuy state, in Venezuela.
It is an estate of mid-nineteenth century, with large colonial style mansions, where coffee plantations (what I came to see), oranges, tomatoes, peppers, plus horse breeding and dairy cows for a small cheese production.
It is a very nice place now become a production unit and hostel, which I'm very anxious to return soon, and spend some time shooting and working there.
